Safety PatrolAt St. Patrick Catholic School, our 4th and 5th-grade students have the opportunity to serve as members of the Safety Patrol, a program designed to foster responsibility, leadership, and community service.
The Safety Patrol team is comprised of dedicated students who volunteer their time to help ensure the safety and well-being of their peers. These young leaders assist during arrival and dismissal times, guiding younger students, helping with crosswalks, and promoting safe and respectful behavior throughout the school grounds.
Responsibilities of Safety Patrol:
• Assisting students during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
• Promoting safe crossing at designated crosswalks.
• Helping younger students navigate the school campus.
• Raising and lowering of the American flag.
• Encouraging a positive and respectful environment among peers.
Participation in the Safety Patrol program teaches students essential life skills such as teamwork, communication, and accountability, while reinforcing the values of kindness and service rooted in our Catholic faith.

Washington D.C.
Our 5th grade safety patrol students are given the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. for 5 days to visit national monuments. We begin fundraising for this at the beginning of the year to give each student on safety patrol the opportunity to go. If you would like to donate, please reach out to the school. Our safety patrol students are very appreciative of the opportunity your donations give them to experience this trip.
